Maximalist Haven

This project was born out of the viral and widely publicized One Room Challenge - a focused, eight-week design sprint to fully reimagine a single space, from concept to completion. Designed within Tristan Gary’s own home, the challenge became an opportunity to push beyond the expected and explore an incredibly layered look and feel.

With her A+ team of collaborators and trade partners working in tandem, the primary bedroom was transformed through rich materials, custom millwork, and a bold interplay of fabric and pattern. A creative exercise executed with the same technical discipline that defines her larger body of work, and was an incredible joy to develop! As Tristan likes to say, “This space is a sanctuary that makes me smile, helps me relax, and fuels my creativity.”
