Tristan built her brand on craftsmanship, curiosity, and transformation - not trends.
Tristan’s work is rooted in relationships. By deeply understanding her clients - their habits, traditions, and aspirations - she designs homes for people who live within them.
At the core of Tristan’s work is partnership. Her clients return again and again, referring her to their friends proudly. Through a lens of hospitality and narrative-driven design, Tristan designs homes for gathering, celebrating, and rest.
As a licensed general contractor as well as a designer, she often does what others won’t, from reworking dated floor plans to introducing hidden moments of delight…like a pantry turned speakeasy.
Nearly two decades ago, Tristan began design school with a 3 year old on her hip, determined to build a career (and a life) on her own terms. That moment set the tone for the way she approaches both her work and her clients: with grit, empathy, and a deep understanding that home is far more than a beautiful space.
Today, she partners closely with families and professional leaders to design homes that reflect the way they truly live - blending creative vision with technical expertise across custom builds and thoughtful renovations.
Clients often say she understands their homes and their lives before they do. Her perspective is shaped by time spent living across three continents (Africa, The UK, and North America), giving her a deep appreciation for how personality and family traditions influence the way people live.
More recently, Tristan experienced her own season of reinvention, rebuilding life following divorce. That chapter only deepened her belief that home is where stability, safety, and new beginnings take root and an understanding she carries into every project she designs.
The result of a life well lived is work that feels deeply personal: homes designed not just to be beautiful, but to truly support the lives unfolding inside them.
I’ve worked with Tristan Gary on multiple projects and she is truly where design meets construction. She brings a thoughtful, organized approach to large-scale renovations and construction projects.
