After Hours

This project was born out of a simple request: not just a place for the kids to bring their friends, but a cool retreat where the adults could do the same. Set in a lakefront home in Tacoma, the design leans into a European vibe, anchored by a bar with fluted millwork and a vintage brass foot rail, and carried through to a built-in banquette paired with a custom walnut table.

The bathroom is color drenched in green, with a walnut vanity, freestanding tub, and plenty of towel storage. The billiard room and TV room were both given new life, and the built-in bunk room seals the deal, with twin XL beds sized for adults who end up staying the night. As Tristan likes to say, "The mural is the star of the show, and everything else was designed to let it be."
